Paul Chryst's recruiting efforts for Badgers seem to be solid

Madison — One concern Wisconsin fans expressed after Paul Chrystwas hired as head coach was whether UW's former offensive coordinator, known for his ability to develop quarterbacks and call plays, would build a staff that would reel in talented players.

Although signing day is more than six months away, UW appears on pace to piece together a solid class for 2016.

UW secured its 16th commitment Saturday when A.J. Taylor, a versatile athlete from Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, Mo., chose UW over a host of schools.

Taylor, who is expected to play wide receiver at UW, reportedly had offers from Iowa, Nebraska, Northwestern, Kansas State, Maryland, Missouri and Illinois.
