The Winnipeg Jets are finally ready to make an official connection to the city’s NHL past.
The team announced this morning that this fall it will institute the Winnipeg Jets Hall of Fame and make the WHA Hot Line – Bobby Hull, Anders Hedberg and Ulf Nilsson – its first three inductees.
The inaugural class will be inducted during the week of this fall’s Heritage Classic game at Investors Group Field.
The Jets have an Oct. 19 home game against Toronto at the MTS Centre just prior to the Heritage Classic game Oct.
