Jets left singing the blues after night in Nashville ends in 7-0 pounding

NASHVILLE—Goaltender Michael Hutchinson will get his first start in four games as the Winnipeg Jets look to snap a four-game losing streak Saturday evening against the Nashville Predators.

"It’s just his time, I think," Jets head coach Paul Maurice said of Hutchinson here at Bridgestone Arena Saturday morning following his club’s morning skate. "We’ve got a comfort with both our guys. We’re not going to let either one sit out. And we’re not winning hockey games so it made sense to make a change."

Maurice quickly added, however, that he’s not pinning his club’s recent losing skid on the play of Ondrej Pavelec, who has started the last three games for the Jets, all of which were losses.
