WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State Shockers hosted the Oklahoma Sooners at Eck Stadium on Tuesday evening. After falling behind early, the Shockers couldn't complete the comeback and fell by a final score of 15 – 7.
The Sooners put the game away early by scoring three runs in the first, then followed that up by scoring eight in the third and three in the fourth. This gave them a 14 – 0 lead after only four complete innings.
In the bottom of the fifth the Shockers came to life.
