OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Wichita State men's golf team finished day one at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate tied for 5th after carding 585 through the opening two rounds.
Grant Bennett led the Shockers after a strong performance through both rounds to end the day 2-under par. Bennett shot 72 and 70 through rounds one and two to finish at 142 and in 6th place individually.
Next best for the Shockers was Conrad Walcher who ended the day tied for 9th.
