WICHITA, Kan. – Willie Schwanke pitched eight shutout innings and led Wichita State to a 6-0 victory over Cal Poly.
Ryan Tinkham went 3-for-5 with one RBI and a double, and Greyson Jenista went 2-for-3 with two RBI to lead the Shocker offense.
The Shockers jumped on the board in the third inning. Michael Mucha led off the inning with a single, followed by Tanner Kirk who reached first after being hit by a pitch and Tinkham who singled to left field.
