BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – The Wichita State women's golf team concluded their 2024 season with a ninth-place finish at the American Athletic Conference Championship.
The Shockers finished with a score of 900, 36-strokes over-par, and with round scores of 294, 298, and 308.
UTSA's Daniela Abonce won the individual title with a score of 207, nine strokes under-par, and SMU rallied to win the team trophy with a score of 843, 21-strokes under-par, just two ahead of second place, Tulsa.
In the opening round, it was Brooklyn Benn leading the Shocker charge, as the sophomore finished even for the round, tying her best round as a Shocker.
