WICHITA – Wichita State's Brady Palen was named the American Athletic Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
The senior (outdoor eligibility) from Beloit, Kan. recorded the ninth-best mark in the nation in the high jump at the Shocker Spring Invitational, jumping 2.17m/7'1.5".
Palen leads the conference by six centimeters after his first meet and will travel to Fayetteville, Ark. to compete in the Arkansas Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 6. Men's Track Athlete of the Week
