Masters Records NCAA No. 2 Heptathlon Score to Win Multi

WICHITA – Wichita State's Destiny Masters recorded the second-best heptathlon score in the nation, winning the Wichita State Combined Events heptathlon with 5,749 points.

Tess Roman placed third with 4,996 points, Sadie Millard finished fourth with 4,794 points, Kenisa Meyer fifth with 4,743 points, and eighth with 4,274 points.

Luke Czarnecki completed his first decathlon, recording 6,270 points to place third.

Masters began the first day of competition with a personal-best 13.80 in the 100-meter hurdles, the fastest time of the day and the ninth-fastest time in program history.
