Hot Shooting in 2nd Half Lifts WSU over UE

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Wichita State outscored Evansville by 20 in the second half and Shaquille Morris recorded his first career double-double to lead the Shockers past Evansville Tuesday night at the Ford Center, 82-65.

Morris tied his career high with 17 points to go along with 10 rebounds and two assists after being inserted back into the starting lineup before the game.

Conner Frankamp was one of four other Shockers to finish in double-figures. He scored 14 points on 4-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc. Rauno Nurger added 12 and Landry Shamet and Darral Willis Jr.
