WICHITA, Kan. – Kendra Henry set a personal best pentathlon score of 3,572 to win the Shocker Multi Saturday evening at the Heskett Center.
Kendra Henry set personal bests in the 60m hurdles (9.20), shot put (12.22m/40-1.25) and 800m (2:25.91) to win the Shocker Multi pentathlon.
"I came in feeling confident," said Henry "This off-season we had all been training really hard and I felt comfortable in all of my events. I was excited to see what I was going to do because I have seen the improvements in practice."
The redshirt sophomore led a Wichita State group that placed three other Shockers in the top-5.
