Women's soccer draws 0-0 with Akron

There was even a bit of a heated moment when Bronco goalkeeper Stephanie Heber taunted an Akron player after beating her to a loose ball in the box. This scoreless thriller went into two overtime sessions with the Broncos edging closer and closer to a goal but falling just short in the end.

The Broncos effort in utilizing the high press paid off for them, forcing their way into the Akron half of the field early and causing chaos for their passing game.

The Broncos dominated early and were able to stop any counter attacks when they lost possession thanks to good defensive play in the midfield from Junior Kendall Juhnke, along with good forward play from Sophomore forward Alyssa Burke.
