“We are strongly encouraging the same fundamentals as last year which include edge work, power and agility, basic skating, and difficult turns,” said head coach Alyssa Dutton. “We have a very strong group of veterans on this team, they understand the work ethic it takes to have a successful season.”
The WMU skaters have an upbeat program that they put on. The team reacted well to the new program last year. This year the team looks to play up the entertainment level for the audiences and judges, the team wants people in the crowd to have a good time.
