Western Michigan football coach Tim Lester anticipating a hot quarterback duel in spring

KALAMAZOO, MI -- A fresh dusting of snow covered the field turf at Waldo Stadium outside the office of Tim Lester on Friday, but the new leader of Western Michigan's football program is already thinking about spring.

It's been just two weeks since Lester was hired to replace P.J. Fleck, and the former Broncos quarterback has his sights set on an exciting quarterback battle in just three short months.

"I'm looking forward to it, I love it, I love it," Lester said of the ensuing competition. "I mean, I always tell the guys the same thing. If you go out there and are playing well, don't worry about 'I've gotta go out here and lead this.
