KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Western Michigan is set to host the Jack Shaw Invitational this weekend, with the action beginning on Friday, April 12. The meet will conclude on Saturday, April 13. Both days will begin at 11 a.m. at the Kanley Track.
SCHIERA'S RECORD BREAKING PERFORMANCE
Kayla Schiera shattered the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase back on March 29 at the Raleigh Relays, posting a time of 10:03.93. Her time is more than 30 seconds faster than the next best time in program history. Furthermore, she currently sits at first in the Mid-American Conference and third in the nation with that time.
