EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Western Michigan took a short trip over to Michigan State this afternoon, collecting some great results at the Spartan Invite.
To open the day on the track, had a big PR in the 5,000-meter run. She posted a time of 17:45.79, which is nearly 10 seconds faster than her previous best time. She finished sixth in the event.
Following that, Madison Zarembski and Delaney Knoll were excellent in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. The duo finished second and third, respectively. Zarembski crossed the finish line in a time of 11:29.
