TORONTO – Western Michigan guards Jefferson Monegro and Brandon Muntu have earned invitations to try out for Team Canada's U23 squad for the upcoming GLOBL JAM Tournament.
The GLOBL Jam Tournament is a tournament featuring Under-23 national teams from across the globe. It is slated to be held in Toronto next month.
Team Canada opens its pre-tournament camp with a two-day tryout, beginning on June 29. After the tryout, the team will have a nine-day training camp leading up to the beginning of the tournament. Team Canada's first game is against Team Africa on July 12.
