LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) named junior pitcher as an NFCA Top Performer of the Week Tuesday afternoon.
This past week, O'Connor posted a minuscule 0.68 ERA in 10.1 innings pitched with the help of six strikeouts while limiting opposing batters to two walks. O'Connor proved to be a threat offensively as well, and matched a game-high two hits during game two of Saturday's doubleheader against Central Michigan University.
In the Mid-American Conference, among pitchers ranked inside the top 10 in ERA this season, O'Connor ranks third in shutouts (three) and is second in hits allowed this season (79).
