KENT, Ohio – Following the conclusion of the 2023 MAC Baseball Championship, the conference announced its All-Tournament Team, with Western Michigan represented by junior first baseman Cade Sullivan.
Sullivan went 4-for-7 (.571) with two hits in each game of the tournament, and reached in seven of his 10 plate appearances. The junior had a pair of home runs, drove in three runs and scored three times.
In the tournament opener on Wednesday against top-seeded Kent State, Sullivan drew two walks and blasted a pair of home runs. His second home run in the top of the ninth inning was his 18th of the season, which tied him for the WMU single-season program record.
