Broncos Fall 89-86 in Overtime to IPFW

KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Western Michigan's Anthony Avery Jr. hit a jump-shot with one second remaining in regulation to force overtime, but IPFW's Max Landis hit the game-winning three-pointer with 14 seconds left to hand the Broncos their first home loss of the season, 89-86, on Tuesday night at University Arena.

After Avery sent the game into overtime Tucker Haymond scored first to give WMU an 83-81 lead. A pair of free throws by IPFW's Brent Calhoun tied the game up at 83-83. John Konchar gave the Mastodons an 84-83 lead after he split a pair of free throws with 3:01 remaining.
