KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan baseball and hockey teams showed their support of the United States veterans by coming out to the Talons Out Honor Flight event Saturday night at Wings Event Center.
"It was such an honor to be part of the amazing event and we look forward to showing our support again next fall," WMU baseball head coach Billy Gernon said. "It is hard to put into words how special the evening was and how it brings to life how fortunate we really are to live in this great country of so many freedoms.
