Allison Named ABCA All-American

Western Michigan baseball's Tanner Allison continued his run of postseason honors, as he was named a Second-Team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association. This is the second honor the organization has given Allison, after he was named a First Team All-Mideast Region selection last week.

Allison, who was drafted in the 19th round by the Atlanta Braves, is earning his third All America honor, after previously being named an All-American by both Collegiate Baseball (Third Team) and College Sports Madness (Fourth Team). He set the Western Michigan single season RBI record with 68, passing Frank Alferi's previous high of 63 set in 1999.
