BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- WKU will close out its season-opening homestand at 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon as it welcomes No. 23/RV Indiana to E.A. Diddle Arena. The Lady Toppers lead the all-time series against the Hoosiers 4-2, but the sides have not met since an 85-70 Indiana win on Nov. 17, 2001.
In the most recent visit to Diddle from a ranked team, WKU upset then-No. 16 Louisville, 71-69, on Nov. 21, 2015. Saturday will mark just the fifth time that WKU has met a ranked opponent in the Clark-Heard era.
Saturday also features as the 34th Annual BB&T Classic matchup for the Lady Toppers, who own an 18-6 record in the event since it was shortened to one game in 1992-93 and a 33-8 record overall.
