Draft guru Mel Kiper put out a list Friday of the top 2018 draft prospects at every position. He listed the Western Kentucky's Mike White fifth among senior quarterbacks, behind only Mason Rudolph (Oklahoma State), Luke Falk (Washington State), Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma) and Matt Linehan (Idaho).
Kiper’s top-ranked non-senior was Sam Darnold (USC), followed by Josh Allen (Wyoming), Josh Rosen (UCLA), Lamar Jackson (Louisville) and Clayton Thorson (Northwestern).
Three days before Kiper and ESPN published that list, WKU coach Mike Sanford talked to the Daily News on Tuesday about White’s NFL future.
Sanford said “there’s no question” that the redshirt senior has “all the intangibles and the tangibles to be an NFL quarterback.
