Western Kentucky pitcher Michael Darrell-Hicks was named Monday as a First Team All-Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League pitcher. He's pitching this summer for the Southern Ohio Copperheads of the GLSCL.
Darrell-Hicks started the league's all-star game earlier this summer. He's posted a 5-0 record with a 3.30 ERA over seven games and 32 2/3 innings.
The Bowling Green native Darrell-Hicks helped the Copperheads to a 30-10 regular-season record and a spot in the league's playoffs, which start Wednesday.
Darrell-Hicks' WKU teammates Jeff Ciocco and Ray Zuberer III are also on the Copperheads' roster.
