Five Mountaineer boats competed in three sessions over the course of the two-day competition, the first varsity eight, second varsity eight, third varsity eight, varsity four, and second varsity four.
"Although we left our training camp in North Carolina to compete at the Cardinal Invite in Tennessee, this weekend's racing was very much a part of our camp,” coach Jimmy King said. “We changed lineups through each round of racing and were very pleased to see our team respond and adapt in a very positive manner."
Madisyn Lee, Lize Morris, Alissa Johnson, Aria Asselta and coxswain Emily Deming would go on to finish fourth (7:53.
