WVU Sixth after Two Rounds at Kiawah

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Sept. 12, 2016) – After shooting four under par as a team in the first round, the West Virginia University golf team sits in sixth place after 36 holes of play at The Invitational at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Resort in Johns Island, South Carolina, on Monday.

The team’s first-round score of 284 is the second-best of the new era, while four under is the lowest team score in relation to par since the team was reintroduced. The Mountaineers are seven under par through 36 holes with a team score of 284-285=569.
