WVU Falls to No. 21 Kansas

Morgantown, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women’s tennis team fell in their second consecutive league match, as the Mountaineers dropped a 4-2 decision at No. 21 Kansas on Friday at the Jayhawk Tennis Center in Lawrence, Kansas.

WVU (4-8, 0-2 Big 12) opened the match by surrendering the doubles point, as Kansas was able to best the Mountaineers in two of the three contests. No. 55-ranked Tess Bernard-Feigenbaum and Nina Khmelnitckaia dropped Senior Kaja Mrgole and Christina Jordan on the No. 1 court, 6-1, to open the match.
