West Virginia Basketball Takes Care Of Baylor

West Virginia basketball was picked to finish sixth in the Big 12 preseason. Today, the Mountaineers are all alone atop of the best conference in basketball with a record of 19-4 (8-2). With back to back wins over ranked teams, West Virginia has taken control over their own destiny.

The Mountaineers were able to shutdown #15 Baylor 80-69 last night, West Virginia went 0-3 against the Bears last year. The Mountaineers were able to throw Rico Gathers off his mark, limiting Gathers to only 5 points and 7 rebounds, just about half of his season average in each.
