MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Martinsburg junior linebacker and running back Dewayne Grantham was a recent guest on the MetroNews ‘Statewide Sportsline,’ reflecting on his commitment to West Virginia.
“I’ve been coming (to Morgantown) for a long time and they’ve been showing me a lot of interest,” Grantham said. “Coach (Mark) Scott has been great to me through the recruiting process. Coach Holgorsen and Coach Gibson have treated me like family from the day they offered me.
“I’ve always wanted to play in front of my home state. I wanted to make sure my family and everyone else could come around, support me and be able to watch me at the next level,” Grantham said.
