MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (September 15, 2015) – Senior Easton Renwick fired a 67 in the final round to lead the West Virginia University golf team to a 13th-place finish at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at the Guyan Golf and Country Club in Huntington.
The Mountaineers matched their first-round score with a 283, shooting one under on the final 18 holes of play, but it wasn’t enough to recover from a shaky second round. They finished the tournament shooting 283-293-283=859 for seven over par. Belmont took home the team title with an 834 (-18), followed by Ohio in second at 835 (-17) and Wichita State in third with an 844 (-8).
