Remade in Manhattan? WVU aims to reverse series history

MANHATTAN, Kan. — Because West Virginia has gone 0-3 against K-State since joining the Big 12, Tyler Orlosky is hungry to stop the slide. Because of how the Wildcats play, Orlosky maintains the highest respect for them.

“They’re similar to us—a blue-collar team and obviously they don’t have real top-notch recruits every year like a Texas or Oklahoma,” said Orlosky, about to make his 28th start at center for the Mountaineers. “But they’re a team that works hard and fights for everything they have.”

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Bill Snyder Family Stadium, where the Wildcats (5-6) still aren’t sure whether this will be their 76-year-old head coach’s final home game.
