Predicting the production of the WVU wide receivers

On top of the wide outs, running backs and tight ends also brought down at least one reception. Sticking with the receivers, four made at least 20 catches a year ago. Now a professional, running back Wendell Smallwood also caught upwards of 20 passes in 2015.

The passing game was not as prevalent in 2015 as it was in the four previous years under WVU head coach Dana Holgorsen, but that may change this season. The Mountaineers have a young, new wide receivers coach in Tyron Carrier. This is his first full-time Division I coaching job, though he spent last year on the Baylor sidelines as a graduate assistant.
