MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– Following a 1-0-1 showing at the Penn State Invitational last weekend, the West Virginia University women’s soccer team is down one spot to No. 6 in this week’s TopDrawerSoccer.com Women’s Top 25 Poll.
The poll’s top-three positions remain unchanged, as Stanford (2-0), Florida State (1-0) and Duke (2-0) rank No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Virginia (2-0) is up two spots to No. 4, and Penn State (1-0-1) slid down one spot to No. 5.
Florida (2-0) follows WVU at No. 7, and Connecticut (2-0), Clemson (2-0) and North Carolina (2-0) round out the top 10.
