MORGANTOWN, W.Va – Six members of the West Virginia University women’s tennis team were named ITA Scholar-Athletes and the Mountaineers were named an All-Academic team for the fourth consecutive year as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
Graduate Kaja Mrgole (sport and exercise psychology), redshirt junior Makenzie Stolar (criminology), juniors Paula Goetz (industrial engineering) and Abigail Rosiello (pre-medicine) and former Mountaineer Habiba Shaker were all recognized by the ITA for their outstanding work in the classroom.
“I am very happy for the recognition that these young ladies have earned,” Coach Miha Lisac said of the announcement.
