MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University gymnastics team opens the 2016 preseason with its first official practice today at Cary Gym.
“There has been so much excitement in the gym leading up to this practice,” said fifth-year Mountaineer coach Jason Butts. “The gymnasts are ready for assignments. In fact, they are routine-ready. I have full confidence that they will cruise through their skills test.
“Our freshmen are in great form. The returning gymnasts all came back ready to go. This team is gelling together so fast – it feels like we’re in mid-season form, and that’s a good thing.
