MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Fairmont Senior graduate Jalen Bridges was with the Mountaineers every step of the way through their 21-win season which would have earned them a spot in the NCAA Tournament last winter. The pandemic brought all NCAA sports to a halt for the rest of the academic year.
“We were disappointed because I felt like that is when we hit our stride,” Bridges said. “We were starting to play great defense, we were hitting shots, we were back to West Virginia basketball.
