Cooke Bogey-Free in Final Round at Furman

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Alan Cooke went bogey-free to tie the lowest round on record at West Virginia and lead the men’s golf team in the third and final round of the Furman Intercollegiate at Furman University Golf Club in Greenville, South Carolina, on Sunday.

Cooke made six birdies to post the lowest score of the day with a 66, tying Max Sear for the lowest round on record. Sear previously carded a 66 this fall at the VCU Janney Invitational. Cooke moved up 50 spots and into the top 25, taking 23rd place with a score of 74-75-66=215 for one under par.
