2016-17 Women's Hoops Schedule Announced

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia University Director of Athletics Shane Lyons and the Big 12 Conference announced the 2016-17 women’s basketball schedule on Thursday.

The Mountaineers will play 17 regular season home games, a nonconference contest in Charleston, West Virginia and an exhibition game at Robert C. Byrd High School in Clarksburg, West Virginia. There are eight teams on West Virginia’s schedule that reached the postseason last year, including seven that made the NCAA Tournament.

West Virginia tips off the season on Tuesday, Nov. 1, against Concord in an exhibition at Robert C. Byrd High School. Admission to the contest will be $5 for adults and $3 for children with all of the proceeds benefiting those affected by the flooding in southern West Virginia.
