New Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti appears to have finally convinced West Ham target Simone Verdi to join the Italian giants this summer.
Verdi has been mulling over a potential move from Bologna for some time after another strong season in Serie A.
His impressive performances have caught the attentions of West Ham, who under the stewardship of Manuel Pellegrini, were firmly in the running to land the in-demand forward.
However, according to Corriere dello Sport, Verdi will finally agree to join Napoli in the summer now Ancelotti has taken charge.
