Valencia have made contact over a January move for West Ham flop Simone Zaza, according to reports in Spain.
As talkSPORT told you last month, the Spanish club have emerged as contenders to rescue the Italian from his miserable loan spell in east London.
Zaza arrived on a season-long deal from Juventus during the summer but is still yet to score in 11 outings for West Ham.
It has been suggested that the loan will be cut short in January, with Napoli reportedly close to agreeing a deal to sign him.
However Valencia, who have struggled so far this season, are also hoping to bring him in when the window opens.
