West Ham and Brentford have had a breakthrough in talks over the transfer of striker Scott Hogan.
The clubs have agreed an initial £9million down payment but are still negotiating on the add-ons with Brentford pushing for their £15m total.
West Ham are understood to have offered around £13.5m in total as the clubs edge towards a solution.
Hogan was left out of the Brentford side for Saturday’s 2-1 defeat against Newcastle.
