Matildas midfielder Katrina Gorry has made an emotional admission about her two-year-old daughter Harper and the shocking injury that might ruin her Olympics dream.
The 31-year-old West Ham star is currently recovering after suffering a serious ankle injury two weeks ago, with the incident putting an end to her Women's Super League season.
Gorry is now racing to be fit for the Matildas, whose first match of the Olympic tournament is against Germany in Marseille on July 25.
As worried as she is about recovering in time, the central midfielder says that the impact the injury is having on her life as a mother is more upsetting.
