West Ham have set Dimitri Payet's valuation at £29million with Marseille ready to step up their interest in signing the France international.
Marseille's president and sporting director met West Ham officials over the past few days, but their bid for Payet, thought to be around £20m, was swatted away and deemed not good enough by the Premier League side.
However, after initially vowing Payet would not be sold, the Hammers have now come round to the idea of selling the midfielder and, according to Le Parisien, have let Marseille know their asking price.
