West Brom will drop interest in Charlie Taylor if they fail to agree fee with Leeds, says Tony Pulis: 'It's a risk not worth taking if it goes to a tribunal'

West Brom will abandon their attempts to sign Charlie Taylor if they fail to reach a deal with Leeds.

Baggies boss Tony Pulis does not want to take the risk of going to a tribunal for the 23-year-old left-back, who is out of contract at Elland Road this summer.

Taylor can move on a free transfer but because he is under the age of 24 any club who signs him will have to pay Leeds a compensation fee related to his development. Taylor has been with Leeds since the age of nine.
