CONFIRMED! Gareth Barry moves to West Brom for an undisclosed fee from Everton

West Bromwich Albion have confirmed the signing of Gareth Barry from Everton on a one-year deal.

The 36-year-old midfielder arrives for an undisclosed fee and comes with bags of Premier League experience.

Capped 53 times for England, Barry has made over 600 league appearances for Aston Villa, Manchester City and the Toffees.

The midfield stalwart won the league title and an FA Cup during his time with City and has received plenty of plaudits over the years for his play and attitude.

Barry arrives at the Hawthorns just five appearances short of overtaking Ryan Giggs as the Premier League’s all-time record appearance maker and Baggies boss Tony Pulis will understandably be delighted to add experience in the middle of the park following the departure of Darren Fletcher.
