Walter Mazzarri says Troy Deeney has to prove he is worthy of England call-up by performing for Watford

Troy Deeney has been told to continue to prove his England credentials by playing well for Watford.

Hornets boss Walter Mazzarri believes his captain is capable of performing for England if given the opportunity.

The 28-year-old forward has scored three times in the last four games ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash at Middlesbrough.
