During halftime of Sunday’s Wizards game against the Knicks, the team held a special ceremony for the 1977-78 Washington Bullets who won the NBA championship 40 years ago. Frank Herzog, the radio play by play announcer at the time, came to center court to welcome back the players from the team.
Many, if not most of us weren’t born when the Wizards won their only NBA championship to date. It’s my hope that we will see that once again in the near future with John Wall, Bradley Beal, Otto Porter, and the crew.
