Washington Wizards’ Otto Porter Is Ready To Play Stretch Four

Last year, the Washington Wizards depended on future Hall-of-Famer Paul Pierce as their starting small forward. Still, Pierce was best as the team’s stretch four during the NBA Playoffs and helped Randy Wittman‘s club sweep the Toronto Raptors after they began playing small-ball.

After having a lot of success playing small in the playoffs, the Washington Wizards have decided to move forward with that style.

Pierce, though, won’t be in the nation’s capital this upcoming season.

The 38-year-old star decided to return home with the Los Angeles Clippers this summer, leaving the Wizards with a hole to fill at the small forward spot.
