The Washington Wizards selected Aaron White out of the University of Iowa with the 49th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
The 6’9″ 23-year-old was a four-year starter at Iowa, breaking numerous school records and leading the team to two NCAA tournaments.
Although he had great success in his four years at Iowa, White and the Wizards had a feeling he wasn’t quite ready for the NBA. He needed to have an excellent Summer League to make the 2015 roster.
White joined fellow Wizards draft pick Kelly Oubre and other potential NBA players in the Las Vegas Summer League.
